Re: really REALLY bad idea of the year

Title: Re: [GWL] really REALLY bad idea of the year
That is the craziest thing I have seen in a very long time! I love the guy with the 2 30’ magnolias, at $3000 apiece, planted in what looks like concrete bordered by asphalt. Are we supposed to get a tree spade in there, or dig them up by hand, or what?

I can’t stop laughing about this but I don’t dare write about it and risk unintentional promotion.

From a newsletter I get.

* A new Web site is promoting itself as a place homeowners can sell
landscape plants. In unsolicited mass e-mailings, Tradeaplant.com tells
readers: "Turn your unwanted backyard plants into Cash!... You can make
100s-1000s of dollars selling mature backyard plants, or just give them
away and save on removal fees." Users list plants they want to sell, and
can search for specimens by plant name. http://www.tradeaplant.com
