The site originates in Australia and promotes trading plants/trees for environmental preservation.  My problem is that ignorance of the laws regarding interstate and intercontinent trade, are no defense in the legal world.  Whilst we might share plants with nearby neighbors, it is still illegal to transport them over certain state lines.

eg.  Plants from New York state to Ohio need certification to be free from Gypsy moth,
Anything east coast cannot be transported to the upper midwest where they do not have Japanese beetles.

I concur with Lon - a not too bad idea in theory, but a nightmare in practice
