Roundup Runoff

Glyphosate/Roundup 'Pro Biactive' is the formulation recommended here 
in the UK for use in and around water. It has much reduced side 
effects on aquatic life. 

The study mentioned in previous posts shows the importance of using 
the correct herbicides for the task, as standard (non-aquatic) 
formulations of Roundup are clearly marked as toxic to aquatic 
organisms.
