I confess I am a titch surprised at the lack of response by the GWA in this 
forum. If not by the staff or Board, then certainly by members of the 
organisation.  (To be fair, Donna Dawson of Region VII, had an extensive 
e-mail chat with me but that discussion came about as a result of other 
matters.)

Not too long ago we-all had a fairly open, albeit unilateral, discussion on 
this list expressing our concerns about the GWA with some of the more clever 
of us ( I think they were more clever) offering a few suggestions.

It could be that there are valid reasons for this apparent non-response. An 
unwillingness to chat about "GWA matters" in an open public forum? Perhaps 
there was a response in the Quill&Trowel? Perhaps I missed some e-mails - 
Messinger's e-mails still get directed to my delete file. ( I swear, sir, I 
do not do that intentionally. Your stuff just gravitates there.)

Are we such a minority rabble that ignoring us is the judicious response?

So how about it, you GWA'ers? Give me something to show that the GWA can be 
relevant to me.
As I said before, I was a member and I would like to be again but somebody 
has to be willing to "sell it" to me.

BTW, this GWL and gwl-g list has been tremendously valuable to me- lots and 
lots of clever people willing to share knowledge, wisdom and experience with 
their peers.
