Re: International Thriller Writers Association
All,
I am always entertained by this group GWL and GWA. At times it is the
highlight of my day
OK so I need a life beyond work, family, and horticulture. As a former judge
for the radio section I can say that I could not be influenced by anyone
when judging what I heard. Maybe I should be a judge again. I am always shy
and would never submit my work for judging because it would have to be
perfect. Live performances are never perfect. Doug as you know I am a
consumer products manager for a web company I am over my key board all day.
This subject has me typing at this late hour. Here I can lurk or join in
and hide from my public who always want more of my personal time and
especially my garden. I always say no. It is as Dan says an excellent source
of information but I also fine that being a member of GWA is too! The high
cost for Canadian Members has it's draw backs but my other associations
have gone the way of the Dodo. Why?For their high cost and there lack of
performance. As I have said before and people have said to me off list why
go to OK this year? There had better be some hype coming soon or many will
not attend but just wait with their money until 2008. I am too tired to go
on Good Night all.
