I don't know if any of this was helpful to you Betty but it seems that you
have friends who have been in and commiserate with what you are
experiencing. Just tell 'em--you become real gardeners and reality doesn't
matter. You create your own.

Tomorrow at noon I'm giving a local garden club a program of tips that make 
gardening a little easier. The location is roughly 15 miles NW of 
Philadelphia.

I'm having a humor emergency -- we've had such disastrous weather here that 
my audience may be very discouraged. Maybe humor is the answer -- poking fun

at ourselves for being ever ready to try again. Help!

Sleet, snow, high winds, power outages, large trees cracked in half, small 
trees and bushes uprooted and blown over, flooding in low-lying areas --  
we've had all that and more in the last 36 hours.

Any stories or ideas? Thanks!
