Re: Equilibrio Films - and MonkeySee


Interesting thread, prompting me to catch the group up on MonkeySee, the 
how-to-video website I was recruiting for a while back.
Contrary to their representations to me, it turns out they're all about 
going after big bucks from the big companies (like Scotts).  And worse, most 
of their content will be "product placement" or infomercials - and who wants 
to be associated with that?  Not to mention that the compensation they were 
offering their subject matter editors was laughable for a huge amount of 
work.
I'm still glad I made one video with them because it's led to other things 
for me, but then because MonkeySee is local to me, I didn't have to pay the 
videographer.  I can't recommend it to anyone else, honestly.  They offer no 
compensation to their "experts" adn in fact, you have to pay to have the
