Re: Who needs us?
When I did a blog post about this some time ago, I had one commenter react like that, but I disagreed: 1. This is really a robotics experiment, not a gardening/farming experiment. And 2. Every large commercial greenhouse I've ever been in is already very automated (although without the cute robots).
It is interesting to see what you can do with a Roomba relative. Floors today, tomatoes tomorrow?
