Dear All,
I just got the best compliment that a garden speaker can receive, and have
to share it with you all. I'm on the road today, on my way to speak north of
Boston. I made my usual pit when traveling this route, stopping at a Whole
Foods for fuel and wireless access. As I bent over the sushi counter looking
for dinner, the woman next to me spoke up. "Are you C.L. Fornari?" she
asked. I replied that I was and she said "I was in the audience at the
Junior League when you spoke on Monday." She went on to say how much she
enjoyed the talk, and then held up a Barnes and Noble bag that she was
holding. "I was so inspired by your talk that I just went to the bookstore
and bought gardening books and magazines."
Yea!
C.L.
