Re: what a speaker loves to hear


 My topic that prompted the woman to buy gardening books was "In The Garden: FYI". This is a talk where I take plants and products that I like and speak about them, giving them away to the audience members. 

I think that the topic of the lecture is less important than the speaker's ability to be enthusiastic and engage the audience. Because I was excited about plants, products and gardening, they were too.
