Native Plant resource - near Buffalo, NY?
I have an e-friend who is very much interested in wildlife. While I'm familiar with native/wildlife plants in our area, Buffalo is way out of my biome. Does anyone have a good book or other reference for her, or know a garden designer/garden coach that could work with her?
She's got a postage stamp yard that often floods. The "landscaper" is talking about bringing in many cubic yards of soil, and I'm afraid it will kill the existing trees as well as her spirit.
Thanks.
