Re: gardenwriters Digest, Vol 87, Issue 8

<Anybody plan on participating in the webinar by the GWA, Scotts,
<NWF and ASLA about habitat and urban sustainable gardening?

I love Bob LeGasse, I am thankful for what Scotts Miracle-gro do for the GWA etc, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I couldn't get past "urban sustainable gardening" IMHO, big time buzz words and then I couldn't shake off thinking about RoundUp and the Highest nitrogen lawn ferts. I hope the report proves that I made a mistake and should have listened in. "Urban Sustainable Gardening"… as if moving to the use of "sustainability" is going to wipe away the problems caused by using chemicals in the yard, but then most of us know this….…

Teaming with microbes,

jeff

Gee probably should have written, 'rantwise' directly to Susan. This is what happens to Alaskans (even Palin) when the lawn appears, the tomatoes are up indoors, the geese return and then it snows 8 inches as it did yesterday.
