Re: No Mow Grass
We have had the Wildflowerfarm Eco-lawn low mow grass at our property for
ten years. I do mow it, but quite high because I hate the look of taller
weeds growing out of it. You simply cannot hand-weed a lawn on a large
country property, and mowing is your best weed control. I wrote about it
here: http://www.countrygardenerblog.com/2009/10/eco-lawn-why-mow/

in our neck of the woods, Wildflower Farms has been marketing an excellent
"no-mow" mix of fescues for about 5 years. you can go to their website and
check it out. a very good product.
our difficulty is getting people to realise that you don't mow it just to
"keep it trim" in spite of the original reason for purchase.
