Doreen Howard

As you all know, Doreen is the list-owner and she just emailed me asking me
as co-list owner to take over for a brief while.

Friends know she's had a run of poor health but has kept working right
through it all.   A month or more ago now on top of the other problems,  she
had a knee replacement that got infected - and had to be cleaned out and
redone.  That is well on the mend she says.   And then (not being overly
stable) she fell the other day and broke her shoulder.

So she finds herself immobilized in some form of 21st century "immobilizer"
device leaving her one hand and two fingers to type - with the wrong hand.

She's reading - but not responding - to the list and emails for the moment.
So feel free to drop her a note but do not expect an immediate response.

So let me simply say that knowing she's reading this - my sympathies go
fully and completely to Pete who now has to deal with her in her immobilized
and frustrated state. :-)  (and you can tell him that as well Doreen) :-)

I have no doubt she'll be back shortly to exert her Queen Listserv status.
In the meantime, should you have issues or problems, do send them to me
directly.

And do drop her a note - this listserv has done a great many good things for
many of us - and I, for one, want her back.
