Re: Three Edibles
Perennial kale (aka tree collards) -- I eat lots of this great-tasting,
prolific, and easy to grow kale almost every day in the winter and spring,
and it's a wonderful landscape plant.
Tommy Toe tomato -- I never get tired of the flavor, which is good at any
stage of ripeness, and it's a consistent and prolific large red cherry. I
usually grow 30 varieties a year, too, but summers are often cool and
larger varieties aren't as predictable.
La Vigneronne pole beans -- I like eating green beans in the garden, and
this is the best-flavored one I've tried, though it's hard to find in the
U.S. Rattlesnake is a good alternative.
