Re: camellia


There are indeed "hardy" Camellia.  I believe Monrovia have an 'Ice Angel' series and you might also check Camellia Forest Nursery for hardy specimens.   There's also a book on the subject - "Growing Camellia in Cold Climate"  William Ackerman and I believe he's written another but I don't have it so it might be the same book only retitled.
