Re: camellia


I have a private greenhouse client with two large Camellias.  They're about 7-8 feet tall so we don't move them in and out and it's a cool greenhouse (winter temps at about 50F).  Camellias do well in containers and I don't see any problem moving them in and out with the season (if size allows) but they'll need a winter rest of some kind.  Sitting in a dry, heated living room at 72F all winter would be problematic. If you have a place to overwinter Clivias and Cymbidiums, that would also be good for Camellias.  Hey!  They all begin with C.
