Hey Larry - an unpatriotic viewpoint - I mostly use the USDA ones anyway
and rarely refer to the Canadian zone map. Having said that - once you get
beyond beginner information, zones are one of the biggest red herrings
professional horticulturalists have ever laid on unsuspecting gardeners.
It's much more important *how* you grow the plant than *where in the
country* you grow a plant. When you can overwinter a banana tree outdoors
in Ottawa, zones are an irrelevancy. :-)
