Title: RE: [GWL]: Contracts - revisited
I am a lawyer....ugh.
A contract is an agreement between willing parties.
That pretty much sums it up. In short: what are you willing to do?
Mind you as a lawyer I would charge you 300 bucks for that opinion, but I am serious. There are all sorts of bargining positions and people try and put themselves in the strongest position, but when push comes to shove, it is up to what either party is willing to do.
You can strengthen your position by getting "sponsors" out there with the advertising folks like local nurseries, and you can make sure youdo very well in their Beldon survey of readership, but again....in the end, it is what they are willing to give you and you are willing to accept.
Finally, if you don't ask, you won't know what they are willing to accept. Don't be shy. You can always fall back on the first offer.....
Cheers,
Jeff Lawyer Lowenfels
