http://www.powells.com will show you where the main store and the branch
stores are - there are smaller versions of the main store (smaller than the
main store, but monstrous compared to any other bookstore), as well as
special branches - one devoted all to cooking and gardening (next to a very
fancy deli/grocery store/pasta maker), one for technical books, etc.  You
have to go several times to the main store - the sheer shock of it makes it
hard to concentrate the first time, so you have to go again when your mind
can learn to encompass so many books.  It's both new and used books, too.
Great magazine selection, too.
