Doreen:

I'm cheap.

  I use the ms works database and set up my own fields in it to track what 
I need to know. It came with the computer lo these many years ago and it 
works just fine. To print out labels, I simply transfer the information I 
need into a text file (SAVE AS -  XXXX.txt) and then open that text file 
with my word processor where the Avery software ( a free download btw from 
www.avery.com) works with Word quite nicely. I use the Avery label 08167 
and it requires no trimming for my slides.

Canadians and other non-US residents. Just a hint - tell the avery site 
that you are from the U.S.  If you try to enter from any other country, the 
download system won't like your postal code. (you have to have a viable US 
postal code - take one from a magazine or something) It took me three tries 
to figure that out. The US side site is also easier to use than the others.
