Gardening profits

I've just talked to one nursery in my area, but the perennials manager said they're having a great year of sales. Their greenhouses are nearly bare, and they're awaiting a truckload of new plants to arrive next week. We are in an area with several new chain stores that carry plant materials, too. I think people are staying home more, and gardening is far more fun than watching vacuous game shows or gross ingestions in the name of "survivorship." I think the magazines and newspapers that cut gardening columns were far out of line. Margaret Lauterbach
