It was my fault.  Someone sent me something that I, as a Mac user, couldn't open and I sent it to her to open.  I've never gotten a virus like that before - the message had to have been intentionally written because it came from what I thought was the host for my domain name and was exactly like something they would send, and just at the right time to fool me.  Usually the virus letters have a stilted sound that gives them away.  I couldn't trace the thing any more than to find it came from Peru.  That by itself sounds suspicious.

Would be very interested to know how she caught the virus...maybe the rest of us can learn something.
