PAR
One of the sessions I enjoyed greatly at the GWA symposium was about the
Plant A Row program. In connection with that, I am hoping to get the help
of all GWL members, and anyone else who might be involved in the program
that you can contact.
There are now a lot of stories coming out of the PAR program about
helpers, recipients, promoters of the program, etc. I haven't heard one
story relate to the PAR program that wasn't either inspirational, touching,
encouraging, or just plain a good story. There was some discussion of
putting some of the stories on the GWA website, but I think there is room
for more to be done. Jeff Lowenfels and Doreen Howard will attest that I
spoke up about collecting the stories for a book, possibly like the "Chicken
Soup" series. To that end, I am asking to hear from anyone who has
something to tell connected with the PAR program. I want to collect the
stories and publish them in articles or, if possible, a book. I can't pay
you, but you will get payment in the form of knowing that the stories will
go to help the PAR program move forward and continue to build and do good.
Which is the main reason I want to do this - to help the PAR program grow.
Please let me hear from you offlist.
