Ah, yes, that would be me. Though I believe "exaulted" was the word I
used.

Now, that's interesting. I'm not exactly a newcomer in this business.
I've gotten their press releases for over a quarter of a century, talked
to them several times with questions, even got their garden writer of the
year award back when I had braces and a buzz cut. But I have never heard
that they send out advance seeds to individuals. And if they don't offer,
I don't ask.

As I said in my original post, I've found a number of AAS that were
keepers. But I am not willing to write about them in the year of their
introduction on the basis of press releases and without personal
experience.
