Re: Canada Gardens to Visit

Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton is wonderful...the conifer hill is 
stunning...very nice collection of Hostas in all sizes...arboretum 
around the lake...special bonsai display...

I'm sure someone has mentioned the Royal Botanical Gardens 
in Hamilton...5 lovely gardens...my favorites are the Rock 
Garden and the Laking Garden.  Use your own transportation 
between gardens...the shuttles are too slow.

Yvonne Cunnington, a "fellow" garden writer has a very nice, fun 
garden near Hamilton.

If you are not in a hurry to get to Canada, I like Hidden Lake Gardens in
Tipton, MI.  It's not too far off of the I-94 corridor.  They are managed by
Michigan State and have some wilder areas that are nice.  If the trees are
changing color it's a real treat.
