in Hamilton...5 lovely gardens...my favorites are the Rock
Garden and the Laking Garden.  Use your own transportation
between gardens...the shuttles are too slow.

Ah, if Doreen wants to go up to Hamilton and the Niagara region (Leamington to Hamilton is a 3 hour drive - Niagara region another hour) then the world of gardening in Canada truly opens up. The Niagara region is home to some stunning gardens and nurseries - just driving along the Niagara gorge and the Niagara Parkway is a floral feast. The Niagara region is home to Canada's nursery industry (along with BC) and there's no lack of stuff to see and do. Although I note that Hamilton's RBG has seen better times, Yvonne's garden does indeed come highly recommended (although I seem to visit in the winter) :-)
