Title: Re: [GWL] USDA Climate Map & Canada Gardens to Visit
Doreen – If you plan to visit the Detroit area, there are several garden nurseries worth visiting including Goldner Walsh Nursery in Pontiac –tropicals, Telly’s Greenhouse in Troy – tropicals and perennials, Arrowhead Alpines dwarf conifers-rare and unusual plant material. These are the stops Dan Hinkley, Dan Heims, Tony Avent etc. etc. make when they are in town. If you’re looking for commercial production, Alexander’s in the Leamington grows perennials / the Stepables and 4-Star Greenhouse in New Hudson, Michigan is a huge Proven Winners Hub.
Let me know if these are of interest.
