Re: Gone to Far?
I did a Q&A with Tony Avent in the last issue of The American Gardener, and
I tagged him as "horticultural provocateur", which is exactly what he does
best. He challenges gardeners to think and to plant things they normally
wouldn't try. He said that his fan mail and hate mail run about even in
volume. When I was in the newspaper biz, if our comments on articles and
editorials ran even, we felt we'd had done a good job of exploring the
issue. My humble opinion.
