I see that our permaculture design course has already been cited.  The person to contact for more information about our programs and our plans would be Fred BovÃ©, Director of Adult Education (fbove@sfbotanicalgarden.org), who has considerable expertise on this topic.  

We are at the very beginning of planning for a future center for sustainable gardening (to house our education and nursery functions) and our directions and plans point toward emphasis on sustainability.  The realization of our plans is still several years awayâ€”we are at the beginning of the roadâ€”but the direction is clear. 

Hope all is going well with you and that Garden Literature Index is becoming a success.
