Re: tiller recommendations

Let's file this in "for what it's worth" category....

I have nowhere near the experience or background of either of you. However, two years ago, I had the
good fortune to sit next to Dr. Paul Hepperly on a field trip of the Rodale Organic Farm.  They had
just begun the no till methodology and had great results.  Absolutely no chemicals were involved,
and in fact, their use of fossil fuels for the farm equipment was reduced drastically.

I came away from the day at Rodale thinking no-till/no-chemical is definitely the way to go.  I have
also heard anecdotal stories over the years re: places like Israel, and the Amazon, where they
haven't tilled in 100's of years. Haven't had a chance to research any of that information.
