Re: Gardens in SF and LA to visit

There's also the Getty in L.A. -- another museum/garden combo, but 
not on the same scale as the Huntington. Some years back, I visited a 
lovely public garden in Sherman Oaks. The Quail Botanical Garden in 
Encinitas, also is quite nice. Also, the Gamble house in Pasedena is 
worth a stop.
