bloggers and those who read them

Hello All,
I've been asked to write a feature article about garden blogging and I want to include your blogs and comments about garden blogs. (The publication is an online newspaper format which pays me better than the print one ever did, by the way.)
If you have a moment to answer either of these questions, please send your response to me offline: mamaonair@yahoo.com.

1. As a blogger, what do you communicate that draws readers? For example, do you write about your own garden, to promote products and plants, or do you riff on the outrages in the garden world? By all means, give me the link to your blog so I can include that.
2. As a non-blogger, what topics or writers do you read most often, and how often is that?

These are admittedly wide questions, as this article is directed to readers who may just be getting their feet wet. Thanks for your help!
