Re: Weigela florida 'Eyecatcher'


My Wiegela's all re-bloom in late summer/fall. Not half as spectacularly as 
 their spring bloom though.

My  Weigela florida 'Eyecatcher' is in flower.  Now.  In south-central  
Virginia (Smith Mountain Lake).  Nothing I can find on the internet touts  this 
bountiful reblooming property.  Does anyone else have this  experience with 
it?

Also, one site I found says it's part of the Proven  Winners Color Choice 
program.  But it's not on the Proven Winners  site.  Did they give up on it?  
I'm loving  it.
