Re: hot pepper flakes?


The label on Hot Pepper Wax clearly states that eye  protection is needed 
because if it blows into your eyes it can cause severe pain  and possible 
damage. It is a concentrate of capascin or pepper.  The hot  pepper flakes will 
lose their hotness almost immediately after being exposed to  sun, air and 
water.  I've never heard anything about a cat being hurt from  it although 
the lady in Britain that put the cat into the trash barrel could be  a 
candidate for being hurt.

Someone on an e-list or forum claimed  that hot pepper (I don't recall 
if it was flakes or a liquid formulation)  had landed their cat or 
someone else's in the vet hospital. (check  snopes?)
