Jim Wilson's memorial in Columbia Missouri was quite an event. I got to
spend time with Janie and Jim's family. He will be buried in Memphis next
Friday, next to his brother who died in World War II (Jim trained fighter
pilots). For anyone who didn't get a chance to share a Jim story or express
their sentiments, there will be a book at the GWA Foundation booth for
anyone to write in. I'll be presenting the book to Janie Mandel (as Jim
called her, "the love of my life") at the Awards Banquet at which we will be
having a celebration of Jim's life and work.

Meanwhile I'm off to California to have a working vacation with Ros Creasy -
It will be a delight to do a little traveling and cooking together from her
garden.  See you all in Dallas!!
