Re: Critter conundrums
I love the scarecrow...it even looks cute in the garden. The head looks like
a bird. It is safe, only sprays water and it waters the garden. Besides
warning your neighbors and friends, you also need to move it
periodically...those critters are smart!!!

I have found a device called the Scarecrow to be very effective against
cats, dogs, deer, and raccoons. It is basically a powerful sprinkler with a
motion sensor. Connect a hose line, adjust the sensitivity and range, and
when it senses anything moving within its range it activates. It shoots a
jet of water at the target area while making a clickety-clack noise.
You do have to remember that it is on, and warn your garden friends!
