Re: Critter conundrums


As was pointed out on the list last year the Scarecrow is great as long as  
you remember to disconnect the water when it gets below freezing outdoors.  
 That came up in a discussion as that's when most of our deer damage takes  
place.  There's plenty for them to forage on now but when the natural  
landscape becomes thin later in the fall they browse much more heavily in our  
gardens..and by then it's often freezing at night.
