Hi Sue,
I hope you will join us at the GWA Region V meeting on TUESDAY, Aug. 21 at the IGC Show in Chicago. We welcome members and guests from all regions and already have garden writers registered from around the country. Networking should be wonderful. We have great speakers lined up and your $35 registration fee includes lunch, goodie bags, door prizes and admission to the IGC show, including its educational programming, for all three days. 

However, ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AND TODAY IS THE DEADLINE.  If you haven't already, you can register on the GWA website at gardenwriters.org. Just click on the "Meetings" tab and select "REGION V" from the dropdown menu. You'll see the itinerary and a link to register. If you (or anyone else on the GWL) has any questions, I'd be happy to help.

The IGC show website has some hotels listed at discounted rates that provide a shuttle to Navy Pier.
