Agree with everything Catriona said about the symposium. Concerns about dubious meats always make me become a vegetarian for conferences. Yes, I had portobello mushroom sandwiches twice, maybe three times, but those mushrooms were good. I especially appreciated the half hour breaks between seminars. Gave people time to talk to speakers afterwards and head for the loo. I seem to recall being rushed immediately into the next room after a presentation and then the next speaker starting late and being rushed in past years. This ran smoothly. Pittsburgh is an interesting city with lots to see. The zoo visit could have used some tweaks but it's done now so time to move on. I had a fine time and the flash mob will live on in history.

Please GWA 2015 people, give us the experience of the delicious, healthy, fresh food California is famous for (a turkey and avocado sandwich made with FRESH turkey and lots of lettuce - a “turcado” - would be most welcome).
