Asian beetle control

I have an invasion of "asian beetles" in my Maine garden. Saw them in
Boston ten years ago but didn't know they were destructive. Dark copper
color, about 3/8 inches long, feed at night, have stripped and killed
bishop's weed, coreopsis, basil, marigolds, coleus. Even find them in my
kitchen sink.

Does anyone know the name of this scourge and a control for it? Can't even
look it up without a name...

Thanks,
Sally
