Re: listowners needed

Aha, I'm not the only one who prefers the list! Lawrence and Doug, thanks for all you've been doing to keep it going.
It's helped me through many problems. Anyone remember my "humor emergency" a few years ago -- I had to give a garden talk just days after a wet April snowstorm ruined everyone's garden including mine and knocked down big trees. So, as advised by YOU, fellow listers, I opened with whopper exaggerations such as our daffodils ducking back underground and soon had everyone laughing.Â
If you need another List helper, I'm available.

The day of the mailing has re-arrived :-) It offers features not found in
social media, blogs or webforums.
I have heard many people say this recently. They prefer a list to social
media. In addition, email, along with RSS, is used
constantly by prominent websites for those interested in keeping up with
their publications.

Not at all. People are returning to them from FB and other places because
they are easy to use, work really well and are reliable.
