Instead of just replying I highlighted the quoted text I wanted inserted,
without "copying" it, then hit reply.
What you see is the result. This is one way to limit quoted text in replies.

A way to further define the subject of a message is to use #hashtags, in
message body and in subject header.
If you use Thunderbird email client then this might enable better results
when searching through email folders.
