I have given many friends a tool (which is available through Lee Valley and
other sources) called a ho-mi, Zen Digger, E-Z digger, or Korean Hand Plow.
I often find that it and a pair of secateurs can get me through a whole day
of gardening. I think that Garden Design magazine, or perhaps Fine
Gardening, once gave it recognition as "Tool of the Year" or "Tool of the
Month." All the gardeners I know who have acquired one are enamored of it.
