Re: [GWL]: Gardening stats

The national Gardening Association commissions and publishes an annual
survey taht answers several of these questions.  There is a charge for their
survey but I don't know of anyone else doing this.  I understand that
vegetable gardening in the Uk has increased because of concern about GMO's.
Thse of us in the indsutry have always seen an inverse relationship between
food gardening and the economy.  When the economy is booming, less food
gardening and probably less time available to people.  Economy takes a
downturn or high inflation that affects food costs more vegetable gardening.
