RE: [GWL]: Annuals vs. Perennials

As someone who moves frequently and is mainly an apartment dweller, annuals
are easy to plant in pots for patios and window boxes, and I can change my
container plantings seasonally. Also, when I actually do have garden space
with my apartment, I don't want to invest in perennials then lose that
investment when I move. I can abandon my annuals when I move and remain
guilt-free.

OK experts, if you have the time, I need ya'll's opinions for a project
we are doing:

Why do gardeners buy annuals over perennials? Or maybe why would you
buy annuals?

And what do you think brings people into garden centers -- not the big
"box stores" but the local independent garden centers.

Thanks for you input!
