Donna --- two important things to me in a Garden Travel Journal would be paper that's easy to write on (versus paper that looks great, i.e. with a glossy finish, but doesn't absorb the ink well) and a dedicated space on each "garden visited" page to note down the plant varieties that were of particular interest to me. Oh, and one other thing (...o.k., two) --- the journal needs to be sized to easily fit into a tote bag and have pages that turn smoothly and allow writing up close to the inside edge (e.g., maybe spiral-bound).
