With all respect, they have those numbers in fine detail. Let me suggest as
an exercise you check the space allotted to gardening books on the
bookshelves of your local book chains. Those chains crunch numbers
regularly and the books that get the shelf space are the books that are
selling. Gardening title space is shrinkiing and has been shrinking for
some time. (Romance and Science Fiction are the only two genres holding
their own if you break "self-help" into its component parts)
