Well then - let it be known that I jumped on that particular bandwagon several years ahead of
Martha - and even earlier than when you started writing for the Suite, Keith.  ;-)

But seriously, as I started to read about the "nesting Nineties" it occurred to me that many
people who weren't really committed gardeners were worried about things like curb appeal. People
who were really into interior decorating wanted to use their windows almost as though they were
paintings - and wanted to look at gardens that coordinated with the decor. And of course if they
used flowers from the garden for their decor and as centerpieces for their dinner parties
(because more Americans were entertaining at home) they also would want those not to clash.

So when I found that article I was thrilled - it meant someone else had the same idea and all we
needed was to get that idea to the public. And that has proved to be a popular article for me.

Only I wonder if Benjamin Moore is still carrying those particular colors - or whether those same
flowers are still on the market.
