RE: [GWL]: Airport Inspection

My inquiry concerning airport agricultural inspection machines that
look like X-rays (but aren't) -- so what the heck are they? -- elicited this
third-day response, which is so far from my question, I'm reminded of the
game "Gossip," where people sit in a circle and whisper a phrase that's
passed along until the last person hears it and says it aloud -- usually to
great hilarity, because it's so different from the original:
<<But the bottom line is.......what is the matter with us that we all
are
telling how to circumvent the system when the system is obviously devised
for some reason?>>
So...anyone know if those machines kill spores, bugs and/or seeds, or
what it is that they do?
